goodmailday: (via Happy Valentine’s Day - Love Letters at Inspiration Junkie robayre.com) In honor of Valentine’s Day I thought I would share these images that my sister posted on Instagram recently. They are love letters written by my great grandfather Harrison Wiseheart, to his soon-to-be wife Inez Parrill, my great grandmother. It’s fitting because if I remember correctly, he was a postman. It’s also interesting to me that they were mailed, but no postal address, just her name and city. It looks like it is dated 1905. It was a different time.
